Our First Post

First and Foremost a HUGE thank you to Mr. Pfunder for our log ons :)

I would like to take a minute and thank you for checking out our blog.

This will be the best place to get the most recent news about our PTA!

Do not worry we have an amazing news letter and that will still be available.

I am so excited about this new school year!

Not only do we have a great team working together to provide the best support we can to our school, we have you!

Open house was amazing - I was so excited to see so many parents there :)

For those of you who could not attend, and as a quick reminder, there were some changes.

Most importantly we want open lines of communication-

We will also be holding quarterly evening meetings - Please come - There will be light refreshments :)

(We will finalize these dates at our first board meeting, of course they will be posted here)

As for fundraising

Our budget is very very limited at this time

Due to the economy still being "scary" the principal and I have decided not to fundraise.

That is not to say we do not need the money, it is just we are looking for donations.

If you have the ability to donate anything from a $1 to $1000 we would appreciate it!

That being said we are going to be looking towards our community as well.

We are asking for financial donations as well as donations in kind.

We wish you all the best and the kids a wonderful first day of school.
